Tonight NBC premieres the third season of "America's Got Talent" at 9:00pm. The series will air 2-hour episodes for three weeks and then switch to 1-hour episodes. It will then take a brief hiatus for the Summer Olympics and return August 26th for the performance shows and August 27th for the results shows.
Jerry Springer, Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff will all be back, and nothing seems to be that much different than last season, except that audiences will be at the auditions as well as the finals. And while this show is a blatant rip off of "American Idol" and is usually only worth watching to make fun of all the weirdos with no talent, it seems the winner actually could have a career. Last years winner, ventriloquist Terry Fator, signed a $1.5 million dollar deal to headline at a Las Vegas hotel. Who knows what will happen this season?
