"The Mole" Premieres to Low Ratings

Monday night's four years in the making premiere of "The Mole" was watched by only 4.73 million viewers. It was the least watched show on network TV on Monday and was beaten by the Stanley Cup Finals and reruns of "Bones", "The Big Bang Theory" and "Rules of Engagement". "House" and "Two and Half Men" had double the viewers. It also had less viewers than the last non-celebrity version of "The Mole" which aired in July of 2002 opposite the first season of "American Idol". That season had about 8 million viewers. Hopefully, as the summer rolls on and people get desperate for new programming they will try out "The Mole".
