On Monday night "Dancing with the Stars" confirmed what was rumored to be true: Misty May-Treanor is officially out of the competition. She revealed that she had ruptured her Achilles tendon on Friday during a rehearsal. She was rushed to the hospital and subsequently told she could no longer stay in the competition. That didn't stop the rest of the dancers though. The remaining pairs performed either the jive or the waltz. Brooke Burke received the first 10 of the season placing her on the top of the judges leader board. Once again Cloris Leachman was at the bottom getting only a total of 16. On Tuesdays results show it was revealed no one was being eliminated, however the votes will be carried over and combined with next weeks. That's bad news for Rocco because he came in last and would have been eliminated if not for Misty's injury.
Misty did undergo surgery yesterday and the operation was successful. Doctors estimate it will take nine months for her tendon to fully heal.
