"American Idol"s Clay Aiken is a dad

Yes, you read that right, "American Idol" Season Two runner up Clay Aiken will be a father in August. He artificially inseminated his best friend and roommate Jaymes Foster, who is a record producer and produced one of Clay's CDs. She is also the sister of producer David Foster. "People" magazine confirmed the story by talking to David Foster. He said “The story is true. It is true Clay is the father. She was artificially inseminated by Clay. She’s due in August. They have been friends ever since American Idol, when they worked together.” So we only have to wait a couple of months before we find out if the kid will have Clay's weird ass hair.

"American Idol" David Cook dating Kimberly Caldwell

David Cook, the newly crowned American Idol, is dating Season Two contestant and Jillian Barberie wannabe Kimberly Caldwell. He asked her out on her TV Guide Channel show "Idol Tonight" and she accepted. He then told "Extra", “She’s great. So far, I’ve had a really good time with her.” He may be having a good time but, like the rest of us, he totally forgot about her time on "Idol" saying "I knew who she was, but I can't remember a song that she sang...I'm probably in the dog house now."

"Bachelor" couple still together

Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas, the newest "Bachelor" couple are still going strong a couple months after the show finished filming. "People" magazine talked with the couple and they revealed they are living together in Shayne's Studio City condominium. Matt says “We have the normal pressures of any couple, but then we have even more added pressures being that we are a reality TV couple, and that I’m leaving my life, friends and family in England to be with her.”

Shayne will also be posing in "Girls Gone Wild" magazine, because apparently "Maxim" is too classy for her. The pictures contain no actual nudity, so I guess she isn't going that wild. Matt commented on the story by saying “I believe it was blown out of proportion. I stand by Shayne 110 percent.”

Also, tell me what you think of the site and any critiques or praise you have by leaving me a comment. I'd love to hear from you and what you have to say.

What will the twist be on "Big Brother 10"?

With less than two months to go before the start of "Big Brother 10" rumors are rampant about what this seasons twist will be. While another All Star edition is unlikely, some think this season could be Fans vs. Favorites or a pairing of an All Star and a new houseguest playing together. My choice would be reality TV stars from other shows competing for the $500,000. Imagine Team Cha Cha Cha living with Yau-Man and Justin Guarini. Although the best twist would probably be no twist at all. In any case we won't have to wait too long, as BB10 premieres July 13th.

David Cook crowned "American Idol"

Wednesday saw the season finale of the seventh edition of "American Idol" and David Cook beat David Archuleta to win the show. On Tuesday both Davids sang three song apiece, Clive Davis' pick, their pick and the sure-to-be-a-smash-hit new song. Simon said that Archuleta won all three rounds, but the public disagreed, voting Cook the winner 56% to 44%. But before we got that somewhat surprising news, "Idol" dragged out the top 12 contestants and their usual menagerie of has-been pop stars and kiddie acts. Donna Summer sang with the girls and Bryan Adams sang with the guys. The duets included Syesha and Seal, Archuleta and OneRepublic, Cook and ZZ Top and Brooke and Graham Nash. If that doesn't get you as giddy as that crying girl from last year, there was also performances by The Jonas Brothers and George Michael as well as hilarious comedy from Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Mike Myers. By the way, every word I've said was sarcastic in case you didn't know, it actually was 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. Oh well, at least I have til January before we have to do it all over again.

Reality Show Renewels

This week all the major networks revealed their fall lineups, and on them included many reality shows. CBS renewed "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race" for two editions each, which is welcome news to "Race" fans who only had one edition this past season. ABC picked up "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Bachelor", but "Bachelor" won't premiere until midseason. FOX unsurprisingly renewed "American Idol" and NBC has another edition of "Celebrity Apprentice" in store. Both shows premiere in January.

Also returning: "Wife Swap", "Supernanny", "America's Next Top Model" & "The Biggest Loser".

But don't look for "Oprah's Big Give", "Kid Nation" or "Beauty and the Geek" as they have been canceled.

"Bachelor" Matt proposes to Shayne

On Monday night's season finale of "The Bachelor" Matt Grant proposed to Shayne, Lorenzo Lamas' daughter. First he took Shayne and Chelsea to meet his parents and brother in London. Then he took the final two women to Barbados before making his final decision. After dumping Chelsea, he said and I quote "Monkey, will you marry me?" Shayne said yes, and it seems that they may be the rare "Bachelor" couple that stays together. Or not. Only time will tell.

Parvati Shallow wins "Survivor: Micronesia"

Last night the 16th season of "Survivor" came to a close, as Parvati beat Amanda to win the million dollars. The show started with the final four women unsurprisingly voting out Natalie, the last remaining fan. Then, the castaways were shocked to learn that it would be a final two, not a final three. Amanda won immunity again and stuck with Parvati, voting out Cirie. The jury then questioned the last two women, well most of them did, as Eliza just stated her vote was still up for grabs and Ozzy took the opportunity to profess his love for Amanda. When the votes were revealed live in New York City, Amanda came up short for the second season in a row. Also for a second season in a row, James won the viewer vote this time taking home $100,000. I think its finally time James and his abs & Amanda and her muppet face officially leave the "Survivor" universe.

Also on the finale, Jeff Probst confirmed that the next season will take place in Gabon, Africa.

Jason Castro eliminated from "Idol"

Last week the four remaining "American Idol" finalists sang songs from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and while that sounded like a good change of pace from the Mariah Carey and Andrew Lloyd Webber weeks, it still proved to be another boring show.

Each singer performed two songs, with Syesha being the only standout for her rendition of Tina Turner's "Proud Mary". Jason chose a Bob Marley song that the judges hated, and then flubbed his lines on Bob Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man". Those errors caused him to leave the show in fourth place, but if Chris Daughtry's career is any indication he should still do pretty darn well.

Here's Jason on "Ellen":

James sent home, Alexis voted off "Suvivor"

Last Thursday two more castaways left "Survivor: Micronesia". Yet again someone was forced to leave the game because of an injury. This time it was James, who had an infection in his finger. I'm not sure why everyone liked James. He was incredibly stupid last season, and only made it far this season because there was a bigger threat in Ozzy.

Later in the show Erik won immunity, which he desperately needed and forced the girls to turn on each other. Amanda was sent to Exile Island and found the immunity idol. Everyone but Parvati voted her out, but unlike Ozzy, Jason and James last season she had two brain cells in her head and actually used it, thus voting out Alexis.

Brooke White kicked off "Idol"

Last week saw a very odd, rushed episode of "American Idol". On Tuesday, the top 5 performed songs by Neil Diamond. They each performed two songs, and the judges only commented on the first performances after everyone sang. Paula Abdul commented on Jason Castro's performance as if he sang twice. Don't the producers know that Paula can barely be coherent when the format is exactly the same every week? How could she possibly form a sentence when they shake everything up?

Anyway, the next night Brooke White was the latest contestant booted from the show, shocking nobody. Except maybe Syesha Mercado.

Amanda dumped by "The Bachelor"

On Monday's episode of "The Bachelor: London Calling", Amanda was the latest woman to not get a rose from Bachelor Matt. In the episode Matt took the three remaining ladies (Amanda, Shayne, and Chelsea) to Barbados for the overnight dates. After the dates, the bachelorettes were offered the infamous "Fantasy Suite" card. Later, Amanda was sent packing and in her goodbyes called Matt a "douche bag" which you apparently can't say on ABC, as the network bleeped it.

Jeff Probst signs on for 4 more seasons of "Survivor"

According to an interview with "USA Today", "Survivor" host Jeff Probst has signed on for 4 more seasons of the show, meaning he'll be with the show through its 20th edition.

He also reveals he's no longer dating "Survivor: Vanuatu" contestant Julie Berry and gives hints to the location of next falls 17th season by saying it's
"probably as remote as we've ever been. The place we're going is one of the last of its kind. It's so wild out there and the animals aren't used to anybody." That supports the rumors that it will take place in Gabon, a western African nation.
That season starts filming in June.

Here's a clip of the man himself with a recap of this weeks episode:

Carly Smithson booted from "Idol"

Carly Smithson is the latest "American Idol" casualty. She was in the bottom two with Syesha. Carly performed "Jesus Christ Superstar" which was mentor Andrew Lloyd Webber's suggestion. The judges all liked the performance, but apparently her fan base wasn't as big as shaved monkey David Archuleta. Although her "Idol" dreams are crushed, she may have a future on Broadway, joining the esteemed likes of Diana DeGarmo and Tamyra Gray

Here's her performance:
