Married Beekeepers Anita & Arthur the First Eliminated from "The Amazing Race 13"

"The Amazing Race 13" premiered last night and married beekeepers Anita and Arthur were the first team eliminated. The episode began with all eleven teams starting the race at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. They were then told to fly to Salvador, Brazil on one of two flights. Once there they had to push snack carts around the city to receive their next clue. The detour was a choice between climbing up stairs on your hands and knees or climbing down a 240 foot cargo net. The only team to choose the stairs were frat guys Andrew and Dan. At the pit stop, brother and sister Nick and Starr Spangler were the first to arrive earning them a trip for two to Belize. Married beekeepers Anita and Arthur came in last and were the first eliminated.

While this season looks to be as good as all the rest, with teams you want to root for (the nerds) and teams you love to hate (the bickering couples), ratings were down 25% from last fall's premiere. 10.29 million viewers watched yesterdays show, compared to the 13.8 million who tuned in last year.

Unfortunately, CBS doesn't stream the episodes online like they do for "Survivor", but you can watch unseen clips from the show here!

Michelle & Gillian voted off "Survivor: Gabon"

"Survivor: Gabon" premiered tonight and the first two castaways were voted off. The two hour premiere began with the eighteen contestants arriving in Gabon and being split into two tribes, Fang and Kota. They then immediately started their first challenge, climbing up a hill. Kota won and received a bag of corn and beans. At camp, Randy hit his head and required stitches from the medics. An immunity challenge followed and consisted of the castaways chained together, running through an obstacle course, and assembling a puzzle. Again Kota won and Fang had to go to tribal council. Michelle's negativity got to the others and she was unanimously voted off.

In the second half of the episode Kota continued their winning streak and beat Fang in a challenge involving pushing boulders through a series of gates. The winning tribe sent Dan to Exile, where he searched for the hidden immunity idol. At tribal council 61 year old Gillian was seen as the weakest link and was also unanimously voted off.

If you missed the premiere you can watch the full episode and clips from the show here!

Ted McGinley and Jeffrey Ross Eliminated from "Dancing With the Stars"

Tonight concluded the three night "Dancing with the Stars" premiere and two celebrities went home. On Monday night all thirteen stars danced for the first time and Jeffrey Ross got the lowest judges scores. Yesterday, after the viewers voted and their scores were combined with the judges, Jeffrey Ross became the first person eliminated. Also on Tuesday's show, the remaining twelve contestants danced again with Brooke Burke and Toni Braxton getting the highest judges scores and Cloris Leachman and Kim Kardashian getting the lowest.

But on tonight's results show it was Ted McGinley who went home based on our votes. That leaves eleven stars still in the running. Who do you think will leave next?

The couple has decided not to learn the sex of the baby, which is due mid-April.

Clay Aiken Reveals he is Gay

The most unsurprising news item ever was officially printed today: Clay Aiken is gay. The 29 year old "American Idol" runner-up is the latest star to come out on the cover of People magazine. In this weeks issue Aiken appears on the cover with his new baby boy and the headline "Yes, I'm Gay. I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things". His son was carried by a surrogate mother and born August 8th.

"Big Brother 11" Returning in Summer 2009

CBS has made it official. "Big Brother 11" will return next summer, not in the spring. There was some speculation that "Big Brother" would do another spring edition, but those rumors have been proven false. In a press release CBS stated that "Big Brother, the summer stalwart reality show, will return next summer with its eleventh edition".

The recently ended tenth season averaged nearly 7 million viewers, which is pretty good but worse than previous seasons. If you're interested in being a future houseguest, you can download an application by clicking here!

According to my poll, you're most looking forward to watching Susan Lucci dance with Misty May-Treanor coming in second followed by Toni Braxton and Kim Kardashian.

"Amazing Race" & Jeff Probst Win Emmys

Tonight was the 60th Annual Emmy Awards, which was hosted by five reality TV hosts. "The Amazing Race" won "Outstanding Reality Competition Program" for the sixth straight time. No other show has won since the category was first introduced in 2003.

This year also marked the first time that reality TV hosts had their own category and Jeff Probst from "Survivor" took the inaugural trophy. In his speech he thanked the whole crew saying "I don't know how we'll divvy it up, but I'm sure the guys in the art department will figure it out".

Dan Gheesling Wins "Big Brother 10"

On the season finale of "Big Brother 10", Dan Gheesling, the 25 year old Catholic school teacher from Dearborn, MI. became the first person ever to unanimously win the $500,000. During the final episode, the jurors questioned the final two and it seemed to be a split jury. Keesha and Renny held a grudge with Memphis, while Ollie and April were still pissed with Dan. When the questioning was over though, some jurors were swayed and ultimately voted for Dan. After the votes were locked, Julie Chen revealed that Dan was "America's Player" for one week. All the houseguests were then brought back for the big reveal and Dan won 7-0.

There was also a star-studded audience. If, by star-studded you mean former BB evictees. I spotted Bunky from BB2, Erika from BB4, James, Beau & Ashleigh from BB6, Nick, Jen & Zack from BB8 and Matty & Adam from BB9. At the end of the show Keesha won $25,000 for being voted "America's Favorite Juror", with Jerry coming in second. After more than two months "Big Brother" is going back into hibernation, but "BB11" will be here before you know it. Whether it comes back in the spring or next summer, I'll be reporting it here!

Who's Going to Win "Big Brother 10"? Find Out on Tonight's Season Finale!

Tonight summer officially comes to a close with the season finale of "Big Brother 10". It's been another season of laughs, fighting, hook-ups, backstabbing and conniving. Eleven houseguests have come and gone, leaving just two Memphis and Dan. Who will take home the half million dollars? Memphis, who didn't make many enemies but some think flew under the radar? Or Dan, who made a lot of moves, but pissed people off in the process?

I think it could go either way. Jerry's definitely mad at Dan and Keesha hates Memphis. The trip Dan took Michelle on could have helped or hurt. Personally I hope Memphis wins. After three loud, brash guys took the money (Mike Boogie, Evel Dick and Adam) its time for a silent but deadly type to win it. But what do I know? What do you think? Who should win? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

FOX Renews Gordon Ramsey's "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares"

FOX has renewed both of Gordon Ramsey's shows: "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares". "Hell's Kitchen"s fifth season will debut next year, and FOX picked up two more seasons after that. The upcoming season has already been filmed and will probably air in January or February. That season will be the first to not air at least part of it's run in the summer. The network is probably hoping it will do well enough to run winter to spring like "American Idol".

As for "Kitchen Nightmares", it just started it's second season and was renewed for one more. The new deal with Ramsey also includes a yet-to-be-announced new series as well as a special. It seems we'll be seeing even more Gordon Ramsey in the years to come.

"America's Got Talent" Reveals its Top 10

On yesterday's live elimination episode of "America's Got Talent" the Top 10 acts of the season were revealed. The ten acts moving on were: Singers Neal E. Boyd, Queen Emily, The Wright Kids, Paul Salos, Jessica Price, Kaitlyn Maher, Donald Braswell, Eli Mattson, impersonator Joseph Hall and violin duo Nuttin' But Strings.

When the season began I thought opera singer Neal E. Boyd was a shoe-in to win, but now Queen Emily, Donald Braswell, Eli Mattson and Nuttin But Strings could all give him a run for his money. The show switches to Wednesday nights next week when the Top 10 is narrowed down to five. The winner will be revealed October 1st.

"Big Brother 10" Spoilers: Jerry was Evicted, Dan and Memphis are the Final 2

"Big Brother 10" has revealed it's final two and the "Renegades" Dan and Memphis made it to the end. After recapping parts 1 & 2 of the final HoH competition, part 3 was played live between Memphis and Dan. They had to finish sentences made by jury members and Dan won, ensuring his spot in the final two. He then decided to stay true to his alliance partner Memphis and evicted Jerry, who became the seventh and final member of the jury. Now, all that's left is for the final two to make their case to that jury and hope for the best. Who will win "Big Brother 10"? Memphis, the mixologist from L.A. or Dan, the teacher from Dearborn MI? The jury of seven will decide live on Tuesday's finale!

"Big Brother 10" Spoilers: Memphis Beats Jerry in Part 2 of the Final HoH

Earlier this evening part 2 of the final HoH comp was played and Memphis beat Jerry, earning him a spot to compete against Dan in part 3. In less than 24 hours Dan and Memphis will battle it out in part 3 of the final HoH live on CBS. It will undoubtedly be questions about the jury members and the winner will single-handedly choose who will go with him to the final 2. Memphis and Dan have said all along they will choose each other and ditch Jerry, but there's a slight chance Dan may choose Jerry if he wins. Would he betray his fellow "Renegade"? What if Memphis wins, who will he take? We'll find out live tomorrow night!

"Big Brother 10" Spoilers: Keesha Evicted, Dan Wins Part 1 of the HoH

Last night in the "Big Brother" house, Keesha figured out that Memphis was going to evict her and on tonight's episode he did just that, voting her out instead of Jerry. Yesterday Keesha confronted Memphis and Dan telling them she knew they were planning to vote her out. After some hesitation, Memphis admitted he was booting her, while Dan played dumb acting like he didn't know what Memphis was going to do. Memphis and Keesha didn't speak all day, even when they were in HoH lockdown.

The live show featured Dan's trip with Michelle and the final veto comp followed by Memphis removing himself from the block. He then voted to evict Keesha and Dan whispered to her on her way out telling her about the luxury trip. Part 1 of the 3 part final HoH comp then got underway and consisted of the houseguests balancing on airplanes. When the feeds clicked on ten minutes later Jerry was already out of the competition, leaving only Dan and Memphis. Memphis dropped less than an hour later, crowning Dan the winner of part 1. Part two will take place tomorrow and will feature Memphis and Jerry going head to head to face Dan in part 3. Who will win part 2? Memphis or Jerry? We'll know tomorrow afternoon.

Serge the First Eliminated from "Top Design"

"Top Design" returned last Wednesday for it's second season and 27 year old designer Serge was the first person eliminated. The show started with the thirteen designers split into four teams and tasked with designing an apartment for one of the judges. The team that designed host India Hick's room was the worst and Serge was the first casualty.

The premiere was very fast paced and entertaining, and the contestants seemed smart and interesting. The only thing I didn't like was the host, India Hicks and her James Lipton-style questioning. This isn't "Inside the Actor's Studio", it's a silly reality show!

Anyway, here's Serge's parting words...

"Project Runway 6" Delayed Until January

The premiere of "Project Runway 6", the first season to air on Lifetime, has been pushed back from November til January. “With this move, the series will resume its traditional cycle of two seasons per year. The new date and time will be announced soon” a Lifetime spokesperson said. Entertainment Weekly reports that the delay "has to do with Lifetime’s inability to get the production together for an autumn start". We'll see how that - and the fact that this season will be produced by "Real World" company Bunim-Murray - will affect the show when it premieres in 2009.

They will be joining previously announced stars Joan Rivers, Dennis Rodman and Brande Roderick when the show debuts in January.

"Big Brother 10" Spoilers: Memphis Wins PoV

The feeds just returned after a relatively short PoV comp and Memphis is wearing the veto around his neck. The one hour competition ended at 5 am est. and the final PoV victor was revealed to be Memphis. He will undoubtedly take himself off the block, forcing HoH Dan to put up Keesha. Memphis will then be the lone vote this week, evicting either Keesha or Jerry. One things for sure, Dan and Memphis are in the final three with either Keesha or Jerry. The "Renegades" may have this thing all wrapped up!

"Big Brother 10" Spoilers: Dan Wins Luxury Comp and Nominates Jerry and Memphis

The "Big Brother 10" houseguests awakened to quite a surprise this morning, when a gorilla barged into their rooms and instructed them to the backyard for a luxury competition. The backyard was filled with all kinds of stuff, including an elephant, a well, a blueberry, a diamond, a gymnast, a cracked egg, and a dog just to name a few. One by one the gorilla covered different objects, knocking out the items that weren't important. The final four had three guesses each to figure out a phrase using some of the items. Jerry used his guesses quickly, while the rest waited til more items were covered. The final two items were the the blueberry and the cracked egg with the word IT. Dan must have figured out that the answer was "Bury the Hatchet" because he was crowned the winner.

After it was revealed that the gorilla was really Jessie, Dan found out his prize. He told the others he won a trip to a private beach and was offered to go alone or bring one other houseguest. He said he decided to go alone, so as not to create animosity. However, some fans are speculating there is more to his prize than that, possibly even the chance to bring a jury member with him to the beach. Later in the day, Dan nominated Jerry and Memphis for eviction but that doesn't really matter because the last PoV decides it all. The final PoV comp will take place tonight around 1 am and I'll be one of the first sites to post who wins. All the houseguests' fates hang in the balance and we'll know who wins very soon!

"Big Brother 10" Spoilers: Renny was Evicted, Dan Wins HoH

On tonight's live eviction episode of "Big Brother 10" Renny, the 54 year old hairstylist from New Orleans was the ninth houseguest evicted from the game. Earlier in the week Memphis won PoV and removed his fellow "Renegade" Dan from the block. HoH Jerry had no choice but to nominate Renny. With Dan and Memphis voting, Renny was evicted 2-0.

Tonight's episode also featured an interview with Memphis' girlfriend Ashley and a peek into the jury house. After Renny's eviction, the second to last HoH comp took place and consisted of questions about pictures the houseguests studied on the memory wall. Dan swept the game, answering all seven questions correct, earning him HoH and a spot in the final three. Most likely he will nominate Jerry and Memphis, but it doesn't really matter as PoV is everything this week. At the end of the episode the houseguests were surprised with a sumo wrestler in their living room, sitting on a clue about an upcoming luxury comp. The houseguests think the prize is a trip to Japan, but no one (including us) knows what it is. When info is revealed I'll post it as quick as I can!
