Lee DeWyze Wins "American Idol 9"

On tonight's "American Idol" season finale Lee DeWyze beat Crystal Bowersox to be crowned the ninth season champion. Yesterday, the final two performed three songs each - their favorite song, a song chosen by producer Simon Fuller and their possible winning song. The judges loved both contestants, but seemed to give the edge to Crystal. Tonight, all twelve finalists reunited and performed with artists such as Alice Cooper, The Bee Gees, Michael McDonald, Christina Aguilera, Hall & Oates, Bret Michaels, Alanis Morissette, Chicago, Joe Cocker and Janet Jackson. Paula Abdul also returned along with most of the previous "Idol" winners to give a proper send-off to departing judge Simon Cowell. Nicole Scherzinger Wins Dancing w/ the Stars

On tonight's 2 hour "Dancing with the Stars" season finale Nicole Scherzinger beat Evan Lysacek and Erin Andrews to be crowned the tenth season champion. Yesterday the final three performed two dances each - a redemption dance and a freestyle dance. Nicole and Erin tied at the top of the judge's leaderboard with a 55, while Evan placed third with a 52. Tonight, the final three performed a third dance before one celeb was eliminated. All three couples danced the Argentine Tango and the judges placed Nicole's first followed by Evan's and then Erin's. That was enough to seal Erin's fate, as she was eliminated from the competition. Nicole and Evan then performed their fourth and final dance with Nicole receiving a perfect 30 and Evan getting a 28. After some performances from former contestants Tom revealed that Nicole was the winner and awarded her and Derek with the mirror ball trophy!

Are you happy that Nicole won? Or were you rooting for Evan? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

Bret Michaels Wins "Celebrity Apprentice 3"

On yesterday's season finale of "Celebrity Apprentice 3" rock star Bret Michaels beat Holly Robinson Peete for the title, although both stars were awarded $250,000 for their charities. The episode began with the culmination of the final task. Bret and Holly had to present their ads for their new Snapple flavors to Trump and the executives. The execs felt that both stars did a really good job, leaving the final decision to Donald. We then joined Trump live in New York where all this season's celebs reunited to hear the results. After Bret and Holly made their final pleas as to why they should win, Trump revealed that both contestants would receive $250,000 for their charities. At the end of the show he ended up hiring Bret, making him the new "Celebrity Apprentice".

What did you think of the finale? Did Bret deserve to win or was it a sympathy vote? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

CBS Moves "Survivor" to Wednesdays

In a surprising move CBS announced today that they are moving veteran Thursday stalwart "Survivor" to Wednesdays next fall. "Survivor" has aired on Thursdays since season two back in 2001. The move was made to help bolster CBS's struggling Wednesday lineup, as well as form a new hour of comedy on Thursdays. If the move sticks, "Survivor" will face off against the "American Idol" results show at midseason. "The Amazing Race" will remain on Sundays followed by "Undercover Boss". The exact premiere dates of "Survivor 21: Nicaragua" and the other fall reality shows will be announced at the end of the summer.

Casey James Voted Off "American Idol 9"

On tonight's penultimate "American Idol" results show Casey James became the tenth finalist voted off the show. Yesterday, the final three performed two songs each - one of their choice and one of a judge's choice. The judges seemed to like Lee the most followed by Crystal and then Casey. The viewers echoed that sentiment, as tonight Casey received the least amount of votes and was eliminated from the show. That leaves Lee and Crystal to face off in next week's finale. Who do you think should win? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

NFL Star Chad Ochocinco the Eighth Celeb Voted Off "Dancing with the Stars 10"

On tonight's penultimate "Dancing with the Stars" results show NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco became the eighth star voted off the show. Yesterday, the final four performed two brand new dances each, one of which contained a 30 second solo. Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek tied for first on the judge's leaderboard with near perfect 59s. Erin Andrews placed third with a 56, followed in last by Chad who scored a 52. Tonight, when the viewer votes were added, Chad didn't garner enough support and was booted from the competition. Next week, the final three perform a record four dances before the winner is revealed in the season finale!

Sandra Wins "Survivor 20: Heroes Vs. Villains"

On tonight's season finale of "Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains" Sandra Diaz-Twine made history by becoming the first two-time winner in "Survivor" history. The finale began with the final five competing in a balance Immunity Challenge that came down to Parvati and Colby. Parvati narrowly edged out Colby for the win, sealing his fate. Unsurprisingly, at tribal council the four Villains took the opportunity to get rid of the last remaining Hero and booted Colby. The next day the final four competed in their last Immunity Challenge, which consisted of blindly navigating around a big maze while collecting four necklaces throughout the course. Russell, Jerri and Parvati were all near the finish, but Russell grabbed the immunity idol first securing himself a spot in the Final 3. At tribal council Russell decided to stick with his original alliance partner Parvati and voted out Jerri, making her the ninth and final member of the jury. On Day 39 the final three made their way to the last tribal council, where the jury of nine grilled them before they made their decision. After the votes were cast, we joined Jeff live in New York for the final vote reading. By a vote of 6-3 Sandra beat Parvati to become the sole Survivor. Unsurprisingly, Russell didn't receive one vote. The results match perfectly with the boot list I posted 3 months ago.

What did you think of the finale? Did Sandra deserve to win or was Russell robbed? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

Bret Michaels and Holly Robinson Peete Revealed as the Final 2 on Celeb Apprentice

On tonight's penultimate "Celebrity Apprentice 3" Donald Trump fired Maria Kanellis, Curtis Stone and Sharon Osbourne. The episode began with Trump calling the five remaining contestants back into the boardroom where he promptly fired Maria. The final four were then told that they would each be interviewed by last season's winner Joan Rivers and original Apprentice Bill Rancic. Joan and Bill both agreed that Curtis should go home, but had mixed feelings about the other three. In the boardroom Donald fired Curtis first and then sent home a tearful Sharon Osbourne. Trump then congratulated Holly and Bret on being the final two and gave them their last task. The finalists had to create a new Snapple flavor as well as film a commercial and write a three page ad for their concoction. Summer Sanders and Darryl Strawberry were sent in to help Bret, while Maria and Curtis were on hand to help Holly. Curtis showed he was an asset right away when he was tasked with negotiating for flavors with Bret. Both guys wanted passion fruit, but Curtis worked his magic and got Bret to give it up. Once the drinks were created the teams went to the mall and had the public taste their beverages. The episode ended with the teams starting to work on their commercials, which may prove difficult for Bret. Next week either Bret or Holly will be crowned the new Celebrity Apprentice live!

Rupert Boneham the Fifteenth Castaway Voted Off "Survivor 20: Heroes Vs. Villains"

On tonight's penultimate "Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains" Rupert Boneham became the fifteenth castaway voted off the show. The episode began with the remaining six contestants receiving video messages from their loved ones on a Sprint Palm phone. At the Reward Challenge the castaways met up with said loved ones and competed together for the chance to spend the day with them. Jerri and her sister Jennifer won the challenge and were allowed to pick two other couples to also enjoy the reward. Jerri picked Parvati and Sandra, which didn't sit very well with Russell. While the girls were enjoying their time with their loved ones Russell struck a deal with Rupert and Colby to get rid of Parvati. However, the plan was scrapped when Parvati won immunity in the endurance challenge. At tribal council Sandra played her hidden idol since it was her last chance to do so. It didn't matter though as Russell stuck with his girls and voted out Rupert, making him the seventh jury member.

SPOILER: If you want to know who the Final 3 castaways are before Sunday's big finale read my "Survivor" boot list here!

Michael Lynche Voted Off "American Idol 9"

On tonight's "American Idol" results show, previously saved contestant Michael Lynche was eliminated from the competition. Yesterday the Top 4 performed songs from the cinema and were mentored by Jamie Foxx. They also paired up and sang two duets. The judges loved both the duets, but weren't crazy about any of the individual performances. Tonight, Ryan announced that Casey, Lee and Crystal were all safe meaning Big Mike was finally booted from the show. Next week the Final 3 travel to their hometowns and compete for a spot in the finale!

Tuesday, May 11, 2010

Niecy Nash Voted Off Dancing with the Stars

On tonight's "Dancing with the Stars" results show comedian and host Niecy Nash became the seventh celeb voted off the show. Yesterday, the remaining five couples performed two new dances each. Nicole Scherzinger's perfect score landed her at the top of the judge's leaderboard with a 59. Niecy landed at the bottom with a 43. Tonight, when the viewer votes were added, it was revealed that Niecy and Chad were the bottom 2 with Niecy getting the boot. Next week the Top 4 dance in the semi-finals. Who will go home one week shy of the finale?

Cyndi Lauper Fired on "Celebrity Apprentice"

On tonight's "Celebrity Apprentice 3" legendary pop star Cyndi Lauper became the ninth contestant fired by the Donald. The episode began with Trump once again mixing up the teams, this time swapping Curtis and Bret. He then revealed that their next task was to renovate an apartment in 24 hours. Sharon Osbourne was picked as project manager for RockSolid, while Holly Robinson Peete was chosen on Tenacity. Holly gelled with new teammate Bret, but continued to clash with Cyndi. Holly tasked Cyndi with designing the celebrity room, but didn't let her contribute much to the rest of the apartment. On RockSolid Sharon started to warm up to her new teammate Curtis, which made Maria feel somewhat on the outs. Both teams finished their rooms with just minutes to spare and then gave a tour of their apartments to designer Jonathan Adler. In the boardroom Trump revealed that RockSolid was the winning team and that Sharon would be receiving $40,000 for her charity. Over on Tenacity, Holly and Cyndi got into a heated argument about who should be fired with Bret stuck in the middle. In the end, Trump decided Cyndi should go and fired her. Next week five will become two, as three more celebs will be fired!

Dan & Jordan Pious Win The Amazing Race 16

On tonight's "Amazing Race 16" finale, brothers Dan and Jordan Pious crossed the finish line first and won the million dollar prize. The episode began with the final three teams flying from Shanghai to San Francisco. In line at the airport Dan and Jordan cut in front of Jet and Cord, causing the cowboys to be the last team to board the plane. During the flight Dan asked to be bumped up to first class, which led to the brothers being the first team to exit the plane. When they landed the teams were given a riddle that, when decoded, led them to Coit Tower where a Roadblock awaited. One team member had to ascend the tower to retrieve their next clue. That clue instructed the teams to Lucasfilm Digital Arts Center, where one teammate had to instruct the other through a virtual course. When the task was completed teams made their way to the Tonga Room where they found a large trunk. They had to figure out to take the trunk to the Great American Music Hall, where their final challenge took place. Once there, the teams had to put posters of all the former racers in order of their eliminations. Dan and Jordan were the first to complete the puzzle and drove to Candlestick Park where they crossed the finish line first and won $1 million. Cowboys Jet and Cord arrived second, followed in third by Brent and Caite.

What did you think of the finale? Did your favorite team win or lose? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

Candice Woodcock and Danielle DiLorenzo Voted Off "Survivor 20: Heroes Vs. Villains"

On tonight's "Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains" two all-stars were sent packing in a jam packed show. The episode began with Rupert and Colby's disappointment over last week's tribal council, where Candice flipped and voted out Amanda. The next day, Jeff revealed that over the next three days there would be two Immunity Challenges and two tribal councils. The first challenge was an endurance contest, which Parvati won over Rupert. When the challenge was over Jeff read aloud a new clue to the whereabouts of a hidden immunity idol. Back at camp all the castaways went searching for the idol, which Sandra eventually found and kept for herself. Knowing he was in danger Rupert put a rock in his pocket to make the Villains think he had found the idol. His plan worked, because at tribal council Russell's gang were forced to split their votes between Rupert and Candice. That meant Rupert and Colby's two votes were enough to get rid of Candice. At the second Immunity Challenge Russell won his first individual immunity in a three part puzzle based contest. Sensing that Parvati and Danielle's relationship was getting too strong, Russell set out to break them up by getting the others to vote out Danielle. At tribal council Danielle broke down when she realized Russell was pitting her against Parvati. With Jerri caving to Russell's demands, Russell had the four votes he needed to boot her.

Here's Danielle's Final Words...

A "Survivor" boot list has been leaked. To find out which castaways make it to the Final 3 read my secret post here!

Aaron Kelly Voted Off "American Idol 9"

On tonight's "American Idol" results show 17 year old Aaron Kelly became the eighth finalist voted off the show. Yesterday, the Top 5 performed Frank Sinatra songs and were mentored by Harry Connick Jr. Lee DeWyze and Michael Lynche were the standouts according to the judges. However, tonight Michael ended up in the Bottom 2 alongside Aaron. In the end, it was Aaron who received the least amount of votes and was eliminated. Next week the four remaining contestants tackle songs from the cinema and are mentored by Jamie Foxx.

Tuesday, May 4, 2010

"Baywatch" Actress Pamela Anderson Eliminated on "Dancing with the Stars"

On tonight's "Dancing with the Stars" results show "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson became the sixth celeb voted off the show. Yesterday, the six remaining couples performed their normal routines and competed in teams in a Cha Cha challenge. Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek became the first recipient this season of a perfect 30. However, when the team dance scores were factored in Evan tied Nicole Scherzinger for first place with a 54. Niecy Nash landed at the bottom of the leaderboard with a 49. Tonight, when the viewer votes were added, the Bottom 2 was revealed to be Pamela and Erin Andrews. Unsurprisingly, it was Pamela who got the least amount of votes and was eliminated. Next week the Final 5 perform two new dances and one more star will be sent home!

Monday, May 3, 2010

Summer Sanders Fired on "Celeb Apprentice"

On tonight's "Celebrity Apprentice 3" Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders became the eighth star fired by the Donald. The episode began with Trump informing the seven remaining stars that their next task was to create three radio ads promoting Clockwork Home Services. Bret was picked as project manager for RockSolid, while Summer was chosen on Tenacity. During the meeting with the execs the teams were both told to steer clear of crass humor, especially if it poked fun at plumbers. Bret decided to risk it anyway and included a plumber's crack joke in one of the ads. Over on Tenacity, Summer decided to have Cyndi sing in one of the ads but almost changed her mind when Cyndi started to lose her voice. When the teams finished writing their jingles they performed all three live for the execs. In the boardroom Trump revealed that the winning team was RockSolid and that Bret won $40,000 for his charity. Over on Tenacity Trump felt that losing project manager Summer was to blame over Curtis and Cyndi and thus she was fired.

Sunday, May 2, 2010

"Detectives" Louie Stravato & Michael Naylor Eliminated from "The Amazing Race 16"

On tonight's penultimate leg of "The Amazing Race 16" detectives Louie and Michael became the eighth team eliminated from the show. The episode began with the final four teams continuing to race in Shanghai. The first task awaiting the teams was the Roadblock, where one teammate had to count all the golden statutes in Longhua Temple. Louie and Michael, however, first had to complete their Speed Bump, which was tossing a coin into an incense burner. When the Roadblock was completed the teams took a motorcycle to Yuyuan Garden, where they faced a Detour. The choice was between searching amongst hundreds of stone stamps for two marked with their names or delivering ten orders of soup dumplings across a market. Brent and Caite were the first team to finish all the tasks and checked into the Pit Stop first, earning them a trip for two to Spain. Louie and Michael arrived last, causing them to fall one leg short of the final. That means Brent and Caite, Jet and Cord and Dan and Jordan are the three teams racing for the million dollar prize, which confirms my spoiler boot list posted three months ago.

Here's the final Elimination Station...
