"Engaged Couple" Amanda and Kris Eliminated from "Amazing Race 18: Unfinished Business"

On tonight's "Amazing Race: Unfinished Business" engaged couple Amanda Blackledge and Kris Klicka became the first team eliminated from the race. The episode began with Phil giving every team a clue that instructed them to find "To Sail To Stop" which referred to a statue near Town Hall. When they found the statue the teams signed up for one of two flights to Broken Hill, the second of which left thirty minutes after the first. When they landed the teams found their first Detour, which was a choice between making a traditional stone mosaic and then dancing atop it or making traditional paintings by spraying clay out of their mouths onto a piece of slate with four silhouettes on it. All of the teams chose the stone mosaic task except for Amanda & Kris, who had to perform both tasks because they were given a U-Turn earlier in the leg. When the task was completed teams were told to find the "home of the magpies" which led them to Central Football Club stadium. There they dressed up as kangaroos and were given only a periodic table of elements with two symbols highlighted. The teams had to figure out that those symbols corresponded to the names of two streets at an intersection. Their final clue instructed them to the Pit Stop: Junction Mine. Zev & Justin arrived there first and were awarded a trip for two to Cancun. Amanda & Kris couldn't overcome their U-Turn and arrived last, eliminating them from the race.

The next two teams eliminated have already leaked. To find out if your favorite team goes home early read my secret post here!

Matt Elrod the Second Castaway Voted Off "Survivor 22: Redemption Island"

On tonight's "Survivor: Redemption Island" 22 year old pre-med student Matt Elrod became the second castaway voted out and was sent to Redemption Island. The episode began with Ometepe returning from tribal council and Phillip swearing his loyalty to Boston Rob. Over on Zapatera, Russell pulled Krista into his alliance with Stephanie and they went searching for the hidden immunity idol. However, they were beaten to it by Ralph who stumbled upon the idol while picking up rocks. The next day the tribes met up for the combined Reward/Immunity challenge, which consisted of jumping off a tower to smash a tile that released a key. After collecting five keys one castaway used them to unlock a box containing a ball. Finally, another castaway used the ball to break five tiles. Zapatera once again won the challenge, earning them fishing gear and immunity. After the challenge ended Matt went over and shook hands with the winning tribe, which didn't sit well with Boston Rob. When Zapatera was awarded their fishing gear Russell immediately spotted the clue to the hidden immunity idol and stuffed it in his pocket. Ralph saw him find it and confronted him about it, but Russell got his back up and denied having it. Over on Ometepe, Rob came up with a plan to get rid of Matt because he felt Matt was getting too close with Andrea. He told Phillip that he would give him a signal at tribal council of who to vote for. Sure enough, Rob's plan went off without a hitch and he even got Kristina to flush out her idol. With the votes for Kristina null and void, there were more than enough votes to get rid of Matt. He made his way to Redemption Island, where next week he'll duel Francesca for the right to stay in the game.

"Cowboys" Jet & Cord McCoy Fall Behind on "Amazing Race: Unfinished Business" Premiere

On tonight's season premiere of "Amazing Race 18: Unfinished Business" the eleven returning teams began their second race around the world and cowboys Jet and Cord McCoy fell behind the others teams. The episode began in Palm Springs, California with Phil informing the teams that the couple who arrived first on this leg would be awarded the Express Pass, which will allow them to skip any one task of their choice anywhere on the race. He also told them that before he gave them their first clue they had to search among hundreds of paper airplanes for one that matched the clue Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services. The first eight teams to deliver the correct airplane to Phil would be on a flight 90 minutes ahead of the other three teams. The last team to find the correct airplane would also be penalized by having to perform a U-Turn sometime during the leg. Kisha & Jen, Gary & Mallory and Amanda & Kris were the bottom three teams, with Amanda & Kris the unlucky recipients of the U-Turn. All three team's luck improved though, when a medical emergency on the other plane let them catch up and they arrived in Sydney, Australia before the eight other teams. When they landed the teams took a ferry to Manly Wharf where their first Roadblock awaited. One team member had to scuba dive in a shark tank and search for a compass that would allow them to decode a secret message. When they figured out the correct message and told it to a sailor, he gave them their next clue. That clue instructed them to Manly Skiff Sailing Club where they had to join a sailing crew and ride a 16 foot Skiff through a race course to a series of buoys that had their final clue. Gary and Mallory were the first team to complete those tasks and made it to the Pit Stop first, earning them the coveted Express Pass. However, they were told that the race was still on and were given another clue. The episode ended with all the teams being told to continue on the race except Jet and Cord who got stuck on deciphering the message and fell way behind.

To find out whether Jet and Cord come back from last place or whether they're one of the first three teams eliminated check out my secret boot list here!

Francesca Hogi the First Castaway Voted Off "Survivor 22: Redemption Island"

On tonight's season premiere of "Survivor 22: Redemption Island" 36 year old attorney Francesca Hogi became the first castaway voted off the show and sent to Redemption Island. The season began with sixteen castaways arriving in Nicaragua and being surprised by the news that two former players, Boston Rob and Russell Hantz, would be joining the game. They were surprised again when Jeff told them that ousted contestants would not go home, but instead would head to Redemption Island where castaways would face-off in duels in the hopes of returning to the game. When the Zapatera tribe made it to their camp Russell told everyone he wasn't going to play dirty, but then made his usual early game move of aligning with a younger girl. Over on Ometepe Kristina immediately went searching for the hidden immunity idol and managed to find it. She shared the news with her alliance partners Phillip and Francesca and they made a plan to get rid of Boston Rob. The next day the tribes met up for the first Immunity Challenge, which consisted of moving large sections of stairs across a track, climbing up the staircase and completing a puzzle at the top. Zapatera got off to an early lead and managed to hold on to it, winning the challenge and earning them immunity. At tribal council Kristina's master plan imploded when Phillip went on a bizarre rant and told everyone that Kristina had the idol. Kristina and Francesca decided to switch their votes to Phillip but it didn't make a difference. The rest of the tribe split their votes between Kristina and Francesca in case Kristina played her idol. With Phillip voting for Francesca that was enough to send her packing over Kristina. Jeff snuffed her torch and sent her to Redemption Island where she'll wait to duel next week's evictee.
