Trace Wins "All Star Celebrity Apprentice"

trace-adkinsOn tonight's season finale of "All Star Celebrity Apprentice" country music star Trace Adkins beat magician Penn Jillette and was awarded $250,000 for his charity. The finale began with the culmination of the last task. Penn was able to edit down his video by removing the part with Dennis Rodman and showing it at the presentation as bonus footage. Trace decided to have Gary sing a Buddy Holly song at the presentation, which went over well with Trump and the audience. Not surprisingly, Penn did some magic at his presentation and invited famous Vegas acts like Wayne Newton and the Blue Man Group. Both shows went very well, making Donald's decision a hard one. At the final boardroom session, Trump gave LaToya, Dennis and Gary $20,000 each for their charities since they hadn't won anything on the show. We then joined Trump live in New York where this season's celebs were reunited to hear the results. Donald first announced that Penn's ice cream had sold better than Trace's, earning him an extra $100,000. Before Trump made his final decision he gave Lil Jon $100,000 for his charity in honor of his mother, who recently passed away. Finally Penn and Trace made their pleas as to why they should win. In the end, Donald announced that the All Star Celebrity Apprentice was Trace!

What did you think of the finale? Did Trace deserve to win or was Penn robbed? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

Penn Jillette and Trace Adkins Revealed as the Final 2 on "All Star Celebrity Apprentice"

On last night's "All Star Celebrity Apprentice" Trace Adkins and Penn Jillette were revealed to be the Final 2 after Trump fired Lisa Rinna and Lil Jon. The episode began with Donald calling the final four back into the boardroom right after Marilu was fired. He asked each contestant why they thought they should be in the finals. After hearing everyone's pleas, Trump decided to fire one person from each team. On Plan B, Donald felt that Penn was the stronger competitor and could raise more money and bring in more celebrities than Lisa, so he fired her. On Team Power, Donald thought that Trace's record of two wins as project manger and over $700,000 earned for his charity was more impressive than Lil Jon's, so he fired the rapper and kept the country star. He did give Lil Jon another $20,000 for his charity, however. The next day, the final two were given their last task: create a new flavor of Walgreens Delish brand premium ice cream, produce a promotional video and raise money for a launch event. Six former players were brought in to help Trace and Penn, with Lil Jon, Marilu and Gary joining Team Trace and Lisa, LaToya and Dennis joining Team Penn. On Trace's team, they decided on a maple macadamia nut flavor for their ice cream and started working on a video featuring Gary doing a funny dance. Over on Penn's team, they came up with an ice cream flavor featuring swirls of chocolate and little candy turtles and named it Swurtles. They also filmed a video featuring Penn and Teller doing a magic trick involving Dennis and the ice cream. The episode ended with Penn learning that the edited commercial was twelve seconds over their one minute time limit. Penn was stumped as to how they could cut out twelve seconds without ruining their entire video. Next week, either Penn or Trace will be crowned the new Celebrity Apprentice and be awarded $250,000 for their charity!

John Cochran Wins "Survivor 26: Caramoan"

On tonight's "Survivor 26: Caramoan" season finale 25 year old Harvard graduate John Cochran was crowned the winner and awarded the $1 million prize. The episode began with the final five castaways leaving tribal council after Brenda was voted out. Erik got very dizzy and needed to be looked at by the Survivor medical team. They determined that he was in a starvation state and couldn't continue on in the game. Just like that the final five became the final four. The next day the remaining castaways competed in the final Reward challenge, which consisted of building a house of cards while balancing a board with a rope. Cochran ended up winning the challenge and was awarded an advantage in the last Immunity challenge. Back at camp, Dawn was again paranoid that she was going to be voted out and needed Cochran to reassure her that they were going to the end together. The next day, the final four reminisced about the castaways who were previously voted out, before meeting up with Jeff for their final Immunity challenge. The castaways had to retrieve and untie three bags of puzzle pieces and then assemble said puzzle correctly. Cochran's advantage came in handy as he didn't have to untie the bags and ultimately led to him winning the challenge. Since Cochran had immunity, both Eddie and Dawn made their pitches as to why Cochran should take them to the final three. At tribal council, Cochran decided to stick with Dawn and Sherri and they all voted out Eddie, making him the seventh and final jury member. On Day 39, after the traditional final three breakfast, Cochran, Dawn and Sherri made their way to the last tribal council where the jury grilled them before they made their decision. After the votes were cast, we joined Jeff live in Los Angeles for the final vote reading. By a unanimous vote of 8-0 Cochran beat Dawn and Sherri and was named the sole Survivor. Malcolm edged out Brenda for the title of Fan Favorite and was awarded $100,000. At the end of the show Jeff teased that the upcoming 27th season would be called "Survivor: Blood vs. Water", which essentially confirms reports that the next season would feature returning castaways competing with or against their family members. Keep checking back for more info on the next season as well as any spoilers that may be leaked.

Brenda Lowe the Fourteenth Castaway Voted Off "Survivor 26: Caramoan Fans Vs. Favorites"

On tonight's "Survivor 26: Caramoan" 30 year old paddleboard company owner Brenda Lowe became the fourteenth castaway voted off the show. The episode began with Erik having an emotional meltdown because he starving and didn't have enough food to eat. The next day however, he got his head back in the game thanks in part to a treemail delivery containing a Sprint phone with video messages from all the castaway's loved ones. After they all watched the videos, they met up with Jeff for the Reward challenge. As usual, the castaways were reunited with their loved ones and competed with them in the Reward challenge. The game came down to Brenda and her dad and Dawn and her husband, with Brenda's dad clinching the victory for him and his daughter. Jeff then offered Brenda the chance to choose one other castaway to spend the day with their loved one. Brenda wasted no time and chose Dawn. Jeff then surprised the castaways by announcing that there were two loved ones for each of them on the island. He then told Brenda that she could either choose one more castaway to get a visit with their loved ones or she could forfeit her and Dawn's visits and give the other four castaways time with both their loved ones. In the end, Brenda decided to forgo her and Dawn's reward and let the rest of the tribe spend the day with their families. That meant that Cochran, Sherri, Eddie and Erik got to enjoy a barbecue with their loved ones on a boat anchored offshore. Back at camp, Dawn was very upset that she was missing out on time with her husband, but Brenda helped her feel better. The next day, the tribe competed in the Immunity challenge which was a battle of endurance that once again came down to Brenda and Dawn. This time Brenda essentially handed over immunity to Dawn and dropped out of the challenge. Back at camp, Cochran started thinking that Brenda had a good shot at winning since she was performing well in challenges and making friends with her tribemates by giving up her reward. He approached Sherri and Dawn with the plan of blindsiding Brenda at the next tribal council and they both thought it was a good move. At tribal, that's just what they did and Brenda was stunned when she was voted out.

Actress Marilu Henner the Tenth Celebrity Fired on "All Star Celebrity Apprentice"

marilu-hennerOn last night's "All Star Celebrity Apprentice" actress Marilu Henner became the tenth celebrity fired by Donald Trump. The episode began with the teams learning that their new task was to design a Foxwoods Resort themed suite and host a party at the Barclays Center. Marilu Henner was picked as project manager for Team Power, while Lisa Rinna stepped up on Plan B. They were then told to choose a theme for their party, with Marilu choosing the King and Lisa picking the Joker. On Team Power, Trace and Lil Jon had a hard time dealing with Marilu's manic energy and preferred to work in a less stressful environment. Marilu eventually decided to go all out with the royal theme and ordered king's robes and scepters, a giant mirror and even hired a professional chess player. Over on Plan B, Lisa and Penn embraced the Joker theme and brought in Lisa Lampanelli, Teller and a chef who specialized in humorously designed food. When both teams completed their suite, the Foxwoods executives stopped by both parties before picking a winner. In the boardroom, Trump revealed that while the execs liked aspects of both parties, they much preferred Plan B. That meant that Lisa was awarded $100,000 more for her charity. On Team Power, Marilu pointed out that Trace had been very curmudgeonly during the task and hadn't contributed much over the last three weeks. Trump, however, placed the blame on Marilu for not creating an exciting enough party or utilizing Lil Jon's nickname of "The King of Crunk". Because of that, Marilu became the tenth celebrity fired from the show.

Bates and Anthony Win "The Amazing Race 22"

On tonight's season finale of "The Amazing Race 22" brothers/hockey players Bates and Anthony Battaglia beat Max and Katie and Mona and Beth to be crowned the winners of the race. The episode began with the final four teams taking a ferry from Edinburgh, Scotland to Belfast, Northern Ireland. When the team arrived in Belfast they picked up a Ford Fiesta and drove themselves to Peatlands Park, where a Roadblock awaited. One team member had to swim one lap around a peat bog in under four minutes. Jen had a really hard time completing the lap, causing her and Caroline to fall behind the other teams. When the task was finished, teams were told to find the "thing with the ring" where their next clue awaited. Jen and Caroline fell even further behind when a local instructed them to the wrong location. Once the teams found the sculpture, they were told to travel to the Titanic Quarter where they found their final Detour. The choice of tasks was between serving a five course dinner to first class passengers in the building site of the RMS Titanic or spray painting an unfinished graffiti drawing at a skate park. All the teams except Jen and Caroline chose the dinner task. Max and Katie were the first team to complete the Detour and make it to the Pit Stop, earning them a trip for two to the Dominican Republic. Unsurprisingly, Jen and Caroline arrived to the Pit Stop last and were eliminated from the race. The final three teams then traveled to London, England where they were told to go to Euston Tap and order a pint of beer. When they were given their beer they were also given the name of their final destination city: Washington D.C. When the teams landed in D.C. they were instructed to travel to the Lincoln Memorial and locate the spot where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his "I Have a Dream" speech. Once they did that, they made their way to the Old Post Office Pavilion and had their pictures taken looking like they were meeting President Obama. After that it was time for the final Roadblock of the race, where one team member had to find the correct spy in a group of fifty spies and tell him a secret phrase. If it was the right spy he would give them his briefcase and instructions on how to open it. The team member had to unlock the lock by putting in numbers that corresponded with how they placed on certain legs of the race. Bates and Anthony were first to complete the task and took the lead. Next up, the teams traveled to Nationals Park where one teammate had to zip line across the stadium and throw a ball to their partner, who had to catch it while dressed in a baseball costume. After that, the teams made their way to Hains Point, where their final task awaited them. One team member had to enter a giant ball pit filled with globes and find ones marked with the various countries they had visited on the race. Once they placed the globes in the correct order they could make their way to the Finish Line. Bates and Anthony completed the globe task before either of the other two teams even got there. They then crossed the Finish Line first and were awarded the $1 million prize. Max and Katie finished second, followed by Mona and Beth in third.

Reynold Toepfer & Andrea Boehlke Both Voted Off "Survivor 26: Caramoan Fans Vs. Favorites"

On tonight's "Survivor 26: Caramoan" both Reynold Toepfer and Andrea Boehlke were voted off the show. The episode began with the castaways surprised by the news that instead of a Reward challenge, there would be two Immunity challenges this week. When they met up with Jeff for the first Immunity challenge, he informed them that the winner would also receive a special note. The challenge consisted of balancing on a platform that was floating on the water. Jeff periodically offered food to the castaways as temptations to jump off the platform. The challenge ended up being between Brenda and Andrea, who stood on the platform for over four hours. They even added their own rule to the game, as they decided to stand on only one leg to make the challenge harder. They also agreed that whoever won immunity would also share the note with the other person. That ended up benefiting Brenda, as she quickly fell off the platform, awarding the immunity to Andrea. Back at camp, Andrea and Brenda opened up the note, which ended up being the same clue to the hidden immunity idol that Malcolm bought last week. They decided to share the clue with their entire alliance and everyone went looking for the idol. Erik ended up finding the idol and stupidly handed it right over to Andrea. The castaways also debated whether or not it was time to blindside one of their own, with Andrea pushing hard to turn on Brenda. However, at tribal council, the alliance of six decided to play it safe and voted out Reynold instead. The next day, the final seven castaways competed in the second Immunity challenge. The task consisted of maneuvering a buoy through a rope maze, untying a series of knots and assembling a ladder using puzzle pieces. Erik dominated the challenge and easily won his first individual immunity. Back at camp, Andrea again pushed for Brenda to go but Cochran wasn't too keen on the idea. He told Brenda and Dawn what Andrea was up to and they decided it was time to blindside Andrea. They approached Sherri and Erik with the plan, and they too thought it was a good move. At tribal council, Andrea was flabbergasted when she found out her alliance had turned on her. She ended up heading to the jury with the hidden immunity idol still in her pocket.
